Medhasree Talapatra is an M.Phil research scholar in English Literature from the University of Calcutta. An avid reader and a child at heart, her time is spent between devouring books and losing herself amidst the potent lyricism of Cohen's music. She grew up reading tales of Nordic and Indian mythology and can harmoniously chant the entire hanuman chalisa when the slightest thing goes awry. Through her involvement with purankosh, she endeavours to not only contribute substantially to this culturally significant process but also to discover what has hitherto hid from her eyes about her own culture.
