Aindrī (Aindri) was one of the epitomes of Ṣakti (Sakti) of Indra, the King of the gods. Devī Aindrī (Devi Andri) arrived at the battlefield to help Devī Caṇḍikā (Devi Chandika) when she was fighting with Śumbhāsura (Sumbhasura).

Aindrī (Aindri) was one of the eight manifestations of Ṣakti (Sakti) of Devī Bhagavatī (Devi Bhagavati). She was also called the Ṣakti (Sakti) and wife of Indra, the King of the gods. According to the Śiva Purāṇa (Siva Purana), when the Lord Śiva (Siva) was living as Indra, Devī Satī (Devi Sati) arrived as his power in the image of Aindrī (Aindri).

Campā (Champa), Campāvatī (Champavati), Pracampā (Prachampa), Jwalitānanā (Jwalitanana), Piśācī (Pisachi), Picuvaktrā (Pichuvaktra and Lolupā (Lolupa)- all these Śaktis (Saktis) were created from Aindrī (Aindri).
