Āvirhotra is one of the sons of Ṛṣbhadeva (Rishabhadeva). He was an advisor of Bhāgavata (Bhagavata) dharma, as mentioned in Bhāgavatapurāṇa (Bhagavatapurana).
Āvirhotra advised King Nimi on how one may attain mokṣa (moksa), and being free of sins, may be one with the Paramātman (Paramatman; the Supreme Self).
