Ayonisaṅgama (Ayonisangama) is a sacred nadī-tīrtha(nadi-tirtha; river-pilgrimage), where the Pāṇḍava(s) (Pandava) took a bath. Having a bath in this site, one gets salvation. It is located on the bank of river Narmadā (Narmada). It is advised that having a bath in this site, without having conjugal relationship with women, one should go to Pāṇḍaveśvara (Pandaveswara). In Matsyapurāṇa (Matsyapurana), this tīrtha is mentioned as Ayonisambhava.
