Ekākṣa (Ekaksha) is a Dānava (Danava; demon) born of the womb of Danu, and sired by Kaśyapa (Kasyapa)Prajāpati (Prajapati; Ruler of the people).
Ekākṣa was one of the demons who possessed human virtues, as mentioned in Purāṇa (Purama; Mythological Scripture).
