According to Devībhāgavatapurāṇa (Devibhagavatapurana), Ugradranṣṭrā (Ugradranstra) is one of the female associates of Goddess Kālikā (Kalika). When the battle between Mahādeva (Mahadeva) and the demon-king Śaṁkhacūḍa(Samkhachuda) took place, goddess Ugrdranṣṭrā was also present in the battle field with goddess Kālikā.
