According to Matsyapurāṇa (Matsyapurana), the second among the seven varṣaparvata(s) (varshaparvata; a major mountain in a varsha or big area of land) of Kuśadvīpa(Kusadwipa) is called Unnata. It is a mountain range with many high pinnacles and made of several metallic elements and minerals. Another name of this mountain is Hemaparvata.
