According to Vāyupurāṇa (Vayupurana), Muni is the son of Sudyumna, in the genealogical line of Nimi. Ūrjavaha (Urjavaha) is the son of Muni, and the father of Suktadvāja (Suktadvaja).
Again, according to Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa (Brahmandapurana), Muni is the son of Pradyumna. Ūrjavaha is the son of Muni, and father of Sanadvāja (Sanadvaja).
