Before the great war Kṛṣṇa (Krishna) ventured to Hastināpura (Hastinapura) to meet Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Dhritarashtra) with his final proposal for peace. On his way, Kṛṣṇa encounters several sages who wanted to accompany him to the Kaurava court for listening to his erudite and sagacious discourse. One prominent sage among them is the great sage Adhaḥśirā (Adhahshira).
