Anavadyā (Anavadya) was one of the eight heavenly apsarā (apsara) born to Ariṣtā (Arishta).

  • However, according to Mahābhārata (Mahabharata), Anavadyā was one of the seven apsarā born of Prajāpati Kaśyapa (Prajapati Kashyapa) to Dakśa’s (Daksha’s) daughter Prādhā (Pradha). Anavadyā was also among those apsarā who presented a performance of dance at the celebration of Arjuna’s birth.
