An ancient king possessing remarkable strength. Yuvanāśva’s (Yuvanashwa) son Māndhātā (Mandhata) rose in acclaim after combating and conquering Aṅgāra (Angara). When Māndhātā encountered Aṅgara in battle, he had to stretch his bow string so far back that when the gods heard its twang, they thought the heavens would be destroyed.
